My Holiday: Day 1

I have gone on holiday! We have taken our caravan up to the Yarra Ranges and pitched up home. We have come up to come for a wedding, but also decided to take the last week of term off to spend the week exploring and enjoying the sights.

Day 1

Today we went to the Melbourne Museum. I have come here a few times, and it never disappoints. We also went for a walk around the city (which included getting lost!)

(Sorry about the poor lighting in the museum!)

New Glasses!

I have been having to wear glasses since I was about the age of 8 years old, but only for reading. It has now come to the stage where I have to wear them all the time, so I thought when I was choosing my frames, I needed pairs that go with everything, and that I will hopefully continue to enjoy wearing for at least a couple of years. These were my choices!

Osiris - Pinkish Frames

I really like the frame of the glasses, and thought they suited the shape of my face. My mum thought it would be a good idea to buy a pair with colour. I'm still not sure about the boldness of the pink, but I'll wear them nonetheless.. I mean at least I can see well with them?

Osiris - Tortoise Shelled frames with metal arms

These are my favourite, I love everything about them! I think the shape suits my face, and I love the tortoise shell pattern. I also like that the arms are metal, and have a nice pattern on them, it really suits the plastic frame. I think this pair will be the ones I wear everyday, they'll go with everything!

p.s. It was such  a lovely day (25 degrees Celsius on the second last day of Winter is pretty exciting!) I decided to take my photos outside. I can't wait for the hot weather!

Kalangadoo Farmers Market

As I had the day off work, my family and I decided to travel 30 minutes down the road to the Kalangadoo Farmers Market. They have a lovely cafe, with lots of local food and drinks, and a room full of 'markety' things to purchase. There are locally made things as well as things from overseas (such as Peru). Everyone was so lovely, and there is a barbecue selling beautiful sausages, onions and burgers. We bought cheese, plum sauce, dvd's and videos as well as a very bright beanie. It was a lovely drive out to Kalangadoo, and the market was even more pleasant! If you would like to know more about the Kalangadoo Farmers Market, check out their website - Kalangadoo Farmers Market.
