My Holiday Experiances

Heyy, I have been on many holidays, and as I live in Australia you never run out of places to go. So I thought in this blog post I would write about the funny stories I have to share about my holidays.

Canberra
The first holiday I would like to talk about is my year six camp to Canberra. This was the furthest I had ever gone away without my parents, so I was very nervous and excited. We lived in Colac (Victoria) at the time. The school bus left at six in the morning and we didn't get to Canberra until six at night. The bus ride was very long (as you can imagine, spending the bus trip with 50 other preteens). The campsite was one that has many schools at once, so each school had an allocated eating time, and ours was at 6pm. So we had to jump on the bus. leave our bags and run to dinner. Some of the food was ok, the rest were.. not so ok. Whilst in Canberra we went and saw many things, Questicon, National Museum, National Gallery, Old Parliament House, New Parliament House etc. It was very fun!! Our whole year level loved going.
I searched through all the blurry pictures I took to find some that weren't taken whilst I was moving!! :)

Lavender Farm
A few years ago some of my family came with us to Healesville for a holiday at the Lavender Farm. It was very fun.. Especially with 11 people in one house. The farm was beautiful and we got to help feed the horses and other animals. The were a couple of dogs, and my cousins got very attached to them!! While we were there we went to the Tulip Festival, on the Puffing Billy (a train) and much more. It was a very enjoyable week!!

This is me and some of my cousins at the Tulip Festival (this was about 3 years ago.. we all look very different now) ;)

Adelaide
Pretty much all of our family lives in Adelaide (the capital of South Australia), so when we go to Adelaide it a big family reunion. But now that we have returned to South Australia, and we only live 5 hours away, we go more often than ever. It also helps my parent work head quarters are there so we are always having to go there for meeting etc. But ever since we young, whenever we are with some of my cousins, we always put on a performance (all of my cousins are younger than me). We have done Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel  and now they are getting older they are more interested in doing stand up comedy or dances. Well, earlier this year they called me into their play room, and they said they wanted to make a band. Then we had the idea to make music video. Anyway, long story short, we made a music video to One Way Or Another. It was late at night.. SO we may be in our pajamas...Enjoy!!

I have plenty more stories, but it would take me days to write them all down for you;). I might do a Part 2 later in the year if you would like.
See ya!!
