August + September

September was a very interesting, busy month for me for many reasons.

Work Experience

As part of year 10, we have to do Work Experience where we work in a place that is a possible career choice for your future. I have always wanted to become a Primary School Teacher so I worked at my sisters school in the Special Education Class and Music Class. I loved working these classes. I was in the Special Education Class for 4 days, and I learnt about how each student learns best. It has definitely shown me this is what I want to do after school.
My Birthday

The 7th of September was my sixteenth birthday. As it was my sixteenth birthday I wanted something special that I will keep forever. So a couple of day before my parents took my to the jewelry shop to be fitted with a Pandora's Bracelet and to pick out a charm as a present. Some of my other family members also bought charms for me so I now have 5 charms.
I also went out for dinner with my friends where I was also spoilt me with presents. We took heaps and heaps of funny photos.

The Royal Adelaide Show

Every year in Adelaide there is the Royal Adelaide Show. Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia and is much, much bigger than any other town in the state. I have only ever gone to country shows, so it was quite nerve racking walking around heaps of people (country shows are big enough for me!!) My dad, sister and I went on a ride called the Alibaba which takes you high in the sky then quickly comes back down. Lets just say my dad was happy to be safely back on the ground. We also went on the Ferris Wheel, Dodgem Cars and played the side show games. I played the basketball one and I got every shot in. My family were very surprised when I walked back with a giant Lady Bug.. It was a very good day

Music Camp

In the last week of term 3, year 10 music students from my school travelled to Adelaide to  perform in front of classes at various schools. I played my clarinet and sung. The performances went well, I'm very lucky to part of a very talented school and year level, with teachers that are willing to do things to make us better performers.
Whilst in Adelaide we had a lot of free time, so naturally we had to go shopping. We were staying in the city so trips to Rundle Mall were quite easy (Although we did start walking the wrong way and nearly got lost.. But luckily a nice lady showed us the way..;)). I bought lots of things from Typo (a stationery shop) an bought the new One Direction Perfume which smells great. I'm not normally very confident walking around this small town without an adult let alone a big city, but I am very happy with myself as my nerves didn't really show.

Thanks for reading, if you have done anything interesting and would like to share it, write it below. And make sure to follow me on instagram, twitter and tumlbr, the link are at the top left.
